Chapter 1
I really chose this chapter because it describes where and why i is where he is in nearly a portion of the book. It gives you a strong structure to build off of to understand the story, what happens is He, Jeffrey Lionel Magee also know as Maniac Magee, pretty much live in his aunt and uncles house because his parents left Maniac Magee with a baby sitter at home, Maniac Magee at the moment didn't know that on the way to the city and back they used a high speed P & W trolley, just on the way back the driver was drunk and drove the trolley into a river killing the parents. When he was 3, after being in an orphanage he was accepted into the home of his Aunt And Uncle, Aunt Dot and Uncle Dan. They were living in Pennsylvania in the western part on Pennsylvania in a city called Holidaysburg.
Maniac Magee's Uncle and Aunt dis-liked each other because they were very strict catholics. By the time Maniac Magee joined the family the Uncle and Aunt stopped talking to each other and stopped sharing, they then had their own oven, bed, toaster, couch, tv, etc! They had to split up the dinner days so they could both have a chance to see their neice.
After eight years, Jeffery was in a musicale at his school, as we was singing in the chorus his uncle and aunt were watching, on oppisite sides of course, duhhhh! The whole song (Talk to the Animals) Jeffery was screaming, but you could not hear because all of the other voices, the song then ended but there was one more boy that just kept on screaming on the risers, as you can guess... It was Jeffery. He was yelling "talk! Tallk, will ya! Talk! Talk! Talk!" girls were screaming and people were laughing. Jeffery then ran out of the school.

It gives you a strong structure to build off of and to understand the story. What happens is,Jeffrey Lionel Magee (also know as Maniac Magee), pretty much lives at his Aunt and Uncle house, because his parents left Maniac when he was three, with a baby sitter at home. Chapter 4
In this chapter Jeffery made his apperance on east side of Pnsylvania for the fourth time.
He ran across the football feild during grade 11 gym which they were playing football. The best thrower threw a ball 60 yard! What a throw hey?! Anyways, the main reciever (AKA Hands) was running down the feild for the catch when the gym teacher at the football coach saw a little kid ran across the feild to catch the foot ball, kept running then kicked the ball to "hands" with one hand. The only reason why he kicked it with one hand was because there was a book in the other! Everyone was speechless.

in this chapter Jeffery made his appearance on east side of Pennsylvania for the fourth time.
He ran across the football field during the grade 11 gym which they were playing football. The best thrower threw a football 60 yard! What a throw hey?! Anyways, the main receiver (AKA Hands) was running down the field for the catch when the gym teacher saw a little kid ran across the field to catch the foot ball, kept running then kicked the ball to "hands" with one hand. The only reason why he kicked it with one hand was because there was a book in the other! Everyone was speechless.
Chapeter 22
A baby buffalo wakes up to see a weird creature inside the buffalo pen. He is known as a boy with fur, only on the top of his head though, lounging on a pile of hay munching on a carrot. The baby buffalo started getting used to it, then expects him to be there after days, but one night, he awakes to find the boy jumping over the fence. He biffed and hit his head and blacked out. An older man then comes and saw the knocked out boy, he then takes the boy to the back of a storage room for baseball known as the "band shell."
The old man set up a bed out of sports utensils. He pretty much made it from scratch, the boy then slowlly woke up and asks the old man who he was. "I'm Grayson." Grayson said. They had a simple conversation, Grayson gave the boy some food to eat. The boy said that he lived in the buffalo pen and that his name was Jeffery Magee. The end of the chapter ends with Grayson and the Jeffery setting out on their adventure for krimpets.
